Founded in 2023 by brothers Danny Mobley and Jason Mobley, Downtime Trace LLC was formed to rejuvenate and revitalize the medical imaging equipment service industry. With over four decades of combined expertise, Danny and Jason began their careers in 2001 at UHS, where they developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by both healthcare providers and service technicians related to medical device management. Though their professional journeys took them down different paths within the Medical Equipment Services sector, their shared passion for innovation and commitment to improving the industry brought them together again to create Downtime Trace.
Downtime Trace was born out of the vision to simplify and enhance the way healthcare providers and medical equipment servicers interact. The platform addresses common pain points, such as inefficient communication, high repair costs, and long equipment downtimes, by leveraging cutting-edge technology. Inspired by the functionality of other popular ride- share and food-delivery apps, Downtime Trace enables healthcare providers to instantly connect with pre-qualified service technicians through a streamlined mobile platform.
By introducing real-time repair tracking with automated repair status updates, a competitive bidding process, and transparent reporting, Downtime Trace empowers healthcare organizations to optimize equipment uptime and reduce operational costs. For technicians, the platform offers a pathway to showcase their skills, access more job opportunities, and get paid quickly.
The Mobley brothers' combined knowledge and passion for the medical equipment service industry are at the heart of Downtime Trace's mission: "to create a more efficient, transparent, and collaborative ecosystem that benefits both healthcare providers and service professionals alike. With Downtime Trace, the future of medical equipment management is here!"
